At Student Paradise, we collect and process only the minimum personal data necessary to operate our service. This typically includes information you submit for listings, enquiry/contact forms, and basic account details. We do not sell your data.

Data we collect

Information you provide directly (e.g. listing details, messages you send via our forms, and account information if you create one). We also keep routine technical logs needed to run a secure and reliable website.

Contacting a landlord

When you use a public landlord page to send an enquiry, the name, reply email address, subject and message you provide are emailed to that landlord so they can answer you. The landlord’s email address is not displayed on the website. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or other secret information in a message.

Cookies

We use cookies for site functionality (e.g. keeping forms and sign-in working smoothly) and privacy-conscious first-party analytics. A random browser token helps us estimate unique visitors and anonymous property views. The raw token is kept in your browser; our reports store only a one-way pseudonymous hash. We do not use it for advertising, sell it, or store it with a raw IP address, URL search terms or full browser description. Analytics records are retained for up to 400 days. You can remove the token using your browser's cookie settings.

Advertising and advertiser accounts

Student Paradise may display clearly labelled direct adverts selected using the page or city being viewed and a broad audience category. Direct advertisers receive only administrator-enabled aggregate campaign figures. They do not receive names, email addresses, enquiry contents, precise locations, raw visitor tokens, raw IP addresses or individual browsing histories, and Student Paradise does not sell student information to advertisers.

If Admin enables Google AdSense fallback delivery, we ask before allowing it to fill an otherwise empty advert position. The secure sp_ad_consent choice cookie lasts up to 180 days and can be reset in browser settings. Refusing does not affect property search or account features.

Advertiser accounts store business identity, contact and billing information, campaign content, moderation history, aggregate delivery figures and Stripe payment references. Student Paradise stores no payment-card number. Financial and audit records may be retained where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time using our Contact & Support form. We will respond promptly and, for deletion requests, remove your data from our systems within 30 days.
